Heavyweight champion Mike Tyson probably will have three more fights before meeting former champ George Foreman, promoter Don King said today.

King, in London for Azummah Nelson’s successful World Boxing Council super-featherweight title defense against Jim McDonnell Sunday night, said Tyson probably would first fight Canada’s Razor Ruddock. Tyson’s scheduled meeting this month with Ruddock has been postponed indefinitely because of the champion’s bronchial infection.

“Ruddock will still probably be next, followed by James (Buster) Douglas in Tokyo, then Evander Holyfield and George Foreman,” King said.

Foreman, 41, is unbeaten since beginning a comeback about two years ago.

King also said that British heavyweight champion Gary Mason could get a shot at Tyson sometime late next year or in 1991.
