Washington Redskins cornerback Barry Wilburn tested positive for crack cocaine use and was placed on the team’s non-football injury list, according to a published report.

The Washington Times said Wilburn recently failed a third NFL drug test, this time for crack.

League policy says a third drug-related offense means a “lifetime ban” with the possibility of reinstatement after a year.
