Laguna Hills High School’s football team qualified for a playoff spot by defeating Laguna Beach, 27-12, in a Pacific Coast League game Thursday night, but Laguna Hills Coach Steve Bresnahan was less than thrilled with the victory.

Bresnahan was angry because his team was penalized 10 times for 110 yards.

Laguna Hills improved to 5-5 and finished third with a 3-2 league record. Laguna Beach dropped to 1-9 and 1-4, fifth in the league.

Marwan Saba rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown in 31 carries for Laguna Hills.
