Orange Coast Defeats Mt. SAC in Basketball

Michelle Hennessey had 14 points and nine assists to lead Orange Coast College to a 71-63 victory over Mt. San Antonio in a nonconference women’s basketball game Tuesday at OCC.

Cami Bigler and Stefanie Moorman each had 12 points for OCC (2-0).

The score was tied, 30-30, at halftime, but OCC switched to a full-court press that helped the Pirates outscore Mt. San Antonio (1-1), 9-2, in the first four minutes of the second half. OCC never trailed after that.
