Top-seeded Coronado advanced to its seventh section championship match in eight years with a 10-8 victory over Monte Vista at the Jewish Community Center. Coronado will meet third-seeded Poway, which defeated second-seeded Valhalla, 17-11.

Saturday’s championship game will be a rematch of last year’s final where Coronado defeated Poway, 11-9. Coronado has won four of the last six section titles. Third-seeded Poway’s victory over No. 2 Valhalla avenged an earlier loss to the Norsemen in overtime.
