COLLEGE BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Oklahoma State Is Upset by Tulsa, 95-80

Michael Scott and Lamont Randolph triggered a 12-0 run midway through the second half that led Tulsa to a 95-80 victory over No. 22 Oklahoma State Sunday at Tulsa, Okla.

Tulsa (4-3) trailed, 56-53, with 10:38 remaining before Scott scored five points and Randolph got four while the Golden Hurricane rallied for a 65-56 lead.

Oklahoma State (4-2) trailed, 59-56, when Royce Jeffries threw an intentional elbow at Scott, who made one free throw and then tipped in a missed shot. Wade Jenkins then completed a three-point play to finish off the 12-0 run.

Oklahoma State pulled to within 69-62 with 6:06 left, but spent the rest of the game missing forced shots and sending Tulsa to the free-throw line.

The Hurricane got 19 points from Reggie Shields, eight of them from the free-throw line in the final minutes, and 15 points from Mark Giorgi.

UC Santa Barbara 72, Eastern Washington 67--After trailing by 10 points in the first half, the Gauchos rallied for the victory at Santa Barbara.

Paul Johnson had a career-high 20 points to lead Santa Barbara (4-2), which played without senior forward Eric McArthur, who had a strained right foot. Freshman Idris Jones had 19 points, including five three-point baskets. David Peed scored 21 points for the Eagles (2-4).
