Share

Valhalla’s Tony Lee tied the Section record for most three-pointers in a game with eight and led Valhalla to a 72-70 victory over Monte Vista Tuesday night.

Lee was eight of 14 from behind the arc. The record he tied was set in February of 1988 by Valhalla’s Rafid Kiti, who made eight against El Cajon Valley.

From Monte Vista’s point of view, Lee was even more deadly from the line. Lee, who finished with 39 points, made two free throws with 17 seconds remaining to give Valhalla (10-8) the margin of victory.
