PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Manning Scores 29 to Lead Trabuco Hills

Tim Manning scored 29 points, 20 in the second half, to lead Trabuco Hills High School to a 79-64 victory over Laguna Hills Friday in a Pacific Coast League boys’ basketball game at Trabuco Hills.

Manning, a senior guard, made six three-pointers, all in the second half. Beau Hossler added 17 and Randy Kriech had 14 for Trabuco Hills. Al Saldana scored 17 for Laguna Hills (8-7, 0-2).

Woodbridge 94, Orange 50--Toby Ramos had 22 points to lead Woodbridge (10-7, 2-0). Mike Manthel scored 13 points, Bryant McLemore 12 and Ryan Rauch 11 for Woodbridge.

Laguna Beach 91, Costa Mesa 48--Laguna Beach (13-3, 2-0) took a 12-0 lead and never slowed. Laguna Beach converted six three-point shots in the first half. Josh Borella had 19 points, John Trevino had 23 and Dain Blanton had 22 for Laguna Beach. Costa Mesa is 2-11, 0-2.
