I’m Sky High Captures $50,000 Aqueduct Purse

Brookfield Farms’ I’m Sky High put on a strong finish and won the $50,000 Winter Lull purse by 1 3/4 lengths Thursday at Aqueduct. The victory was the third straight for the 4-year-old colt and his sixth in 11 career starts.

I’m Sky High, carrying 115 pounds, was ridden by Mike Smith and covered 1 1/8 miles on a fast track in 1:52 1-5. Whiz Along, 115, was runner-up in the eight-horse field, half a length ahead of Kunjar. I’m Sky High returned $7.60, $4.20 and $3.20.
