Dana Hills 5, San Clemente 0--Gina Pitale, Stacey Juhl, Jennifer Koenig, Kristin Bye and Shelby McKay scored for visiting Dana Hills (17-3-1, 6-2).
In Century League girls’ soccer:
Foothill 3, Villa Park 1--Amy Hardy scored twice and Julie Ehret scored another goal for visiting Foothill. Sherrelyn Brown scored for Villa Park.
In Empire League girls’ soccer:
El Dorado 2, Loara 0--Theresa Korte scored on a assist from Tami Baglien and Amy Ertle scored on an assist from Korte for host El Dorado (9-3-5, 3-1-4). Loara is 0-7-1 in league.
In Garden Grove League girls’ soccer:
La Quinta 1, Kennedy 0--Stefani Stucker scored her 20th goal of the season for visiting La Quinta (13-3, 8-0). Freshman goalie Shawnay Aguilera had eight saves for her eighth consecutive league shutout and 13th of the season for La Quinta, which clinched at least a tie for the league championship. Kennedy is 6-2 in league play.
In Olympic League girls’ soccer:
Santa Margarita 1, Ontario Christian 0--Allie Werve scored with four minutes left for visiting Santa Margarita (12-1-3, 9-1-2). Julie Faber had 16 saves for Ontario Christian, which is 8-1-3 in league.
Orange Lutheran 2, Whittier Christian 0--Amber Parkinson scored both goals for visiting Orange Lutheran (12-2-4, 7-1-4). Whittier Christian is 7-9-2, 5-7. Amy DuPont had seven saves for Orange Lutheran. Parkinson has 24 goals in 18 games.
In Orange League girls’s soccer:
Brea-Olinda 7, Savanna 0--Carrie Lewis and Sammy Tennison each had two goals for host Brea-Olinda. Michelle Acosta, Karen Ferrier and Nicky Scott each had one for Brea-Olinda (8-8-2, 5-1).
In Pacific Coast League girls’ soccer:
Trabuco Hills 4, Woodbridge 0--Trabuco Hills (16-4-1, 5-0-1) clinched its first league title by defeating host Woodbridge (11-5-1, 4-2). Malin Bjork, Adrian Montgomery, Kristin Lowery and Linda Lunceford scored for Trabuco Hills. Lunceford scored her 27th goal of the season and added her 19th assist.
Orange 4, Laguna Beach 1--Laura Roundy scored two goals to lead Orange (10-4-2, 2-4-2) at home. Roundy scored both goals in the first half to help Orange take a 3-0 lead. Debbie Ford and Stacy Long also scored for the Panthers.
In Sea View League girls’ soccer:
Newport Harbor 1, Estancia 0--Sally Newberry scored five minutes into the second half for host Newport Harbor (5-8-3, 2-3-3). Estancia goalie Christa Vandoorn had nine saves.
Corona del Mar 2, Tustin 1--Kristen Borland scored both goals for host Corona del Mar (14-5-5, 6-0-2). Laura Teal scored with 10 minutes remaining in the match for Tustin (10-5-3, 4-2-2).
In Sunset League girls’ soccer:
Huntington Beach 2, Westminster 0--Thea Miller scored both goals to lead visiting Huntington Beach (6-15-1, 1-7-1). Westminster is 1-11-1, 0-8-1.
In Angelus League boys’ soccer:
Mater Dei 2, Bishop Montgomery 1--Luis Cevallos scored two goals, the second breaking a 1-1 halftime tie for host Mater Dei (14-6-3, 5-0-2). Matt Simmons scored for Bishop Montgomery.
Servite 4, St. Paul 1--Shawn Kane, George Charlesworth, Brandon Murdoch and Barkley Harty scored for visiting Servite (10-9-2, 4-0-2). Luis Hernandez scored for St. Paul.
In Freeway League boys’ soccer:
Sunny Hills 2, Sonora 0--Jason Fichtelberg and Bobby Magnussen scored for host Sunny Hills (14-2-3, 7-0-1), which clinched the league championship.
In Garden Grove League field hockey:
Santiago 6, University 0--Espy Monroy scored three goals, Leanne Stoneking scored two and Minerva Ceja scored one to lead visiting Santiago (20-2-1, 7-1) to its seventh consecutive league title. Nellie Silveira had two saves for Santiago and Allison Maler saved seven for University. It was Santiago’s 18th shutout.
Santa Ana Valley 5, Santa Ana 0--Maribel Serna had two goals to lead visiting Santa Ana Valley (12-5-2, 6-1-1).
In Arrowhead League boys’ basketball:
Southern California Christian 81, Leffingwell 46--Five players, led by center Shawn Wiltshire’s 15 points, scored in double figures as Southern California Christian (12-8, 9-0) clinched the league title in a game played at Southern California College in Costa Mesa. Wiltshire also had 15 rebounds.
