In other second-round games:

Redlands 103, Antelope Valley 68--The Antelopes (21-6) were eliminated by host Redlands in a 5-AA Division game.

Simi Valley 59, Fountain Valley 58--Three free throws in the final 24 seconds helped Simi Valley win its 5-AA playoff game at Fountain Valley.

Despite a final-second, three-point basket by Fountain Valley’s Derrick Corcoran, Tim Jaqua’s free throw in the final 10 seconds clinched the game for Simi Valley.

“We’ll take the win and get out of here as quick as we can,” Simi Valley Coach Dean Bradshaw said.

Simi Valley’s Steve Carnes had 23 points and five assists and Mike Wawryk had 23 points and 11 rebounds.

The Pioneers advance to the quarterfinals Tuesday where they meet Long Beach Poly, a 65-51 winner over Fountain Valley.

Burroughs 78, Redondo 55--The Indians hit 17 of 18 free throws en route to a 4-A victory at Burroughs.

Center Ray Velasquez was 10 of 15 from the field for 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Indians improved to 17-6.

Marnie Calderon added 17 and S. J. Boldvich 12. Jason Correa’s 13 topped Redondo (8-19).

Burroughs meets Rio Mesa on Tuesday in the quarterfinals.

Rio Mesa 67, Crescenta Valley 57--The lights in the Rio Mesa gym went out temporarily in the first half, but Rio Mesa’s Eric Thomas, despite his game-high 24 points, had nothing to do with it.

Rio Mesa pulled out of a 30-30 halftime tie to move into the 4-A Division quarterfinals.

Greg Belman added 17 points for Rio Mesa (14-13). Paul Matijasevic and Lamar Breeding scored 11 points each to lead five players in double figures for Crescenta Valley (16-9).

Notre Dame 99, Moorpark 74--Leading 13-8 in the first quarter, Notre Dame scored 24 unanswered points and turned the 3-A Division game at Notre Dame into a rout.

Notre Dame’s G. C. Marcaccini made four three-point shots in the first quarter and finished with a game-high 24 points.

Bob DaCorsi added 22 for Notre Dame, and Steve Colella had 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Robert Hernandez led Moorpark with 18 points. Both teams are 14-10.

In Tuesday’s quarterfinals, the the Knights meet Rancho Alamitos, an 86-58 winner over South Pasadena.

Chaminade 63, Beaumont 62--Junior Kent Cote (16 points) sank a pair of free throws with nine seconds to play to give visiting Chaminade (14-10) a 63-59 lead in a 2-AA Division game. Beaumont (13-10) hit a three-point shot with a second to play.

Chaminade’s Mark Mirkovich tossed in a game-high 18 points and Colin Havert handed out seven assists. Mark Wiltshire had 10 rebounds for Chaminade, which moves to Tuesday’s quarterfinals against Santa Clara, a 60-50 winner over Pius X.

Montclair Prep 83, Rosamond 53--Jack Shemtov scored 20 points and Chris Sanger added 14 points and 10 rebounds for host Montclair Prep (19-4) in a 1-A Division game.

Cardell Henderson had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Ed Cibrian scored 15 points for Montclair Prep, which plays Faith Baptist in the quarterfinals Tuesday.

Faith Baptist 77, Flintridge Prep 70--Alex Estrada had 27 points and 10 assists and Peter Rasmussen added 18 points and 14 rebounds for host Faith Baptist (16-10) in a 1-A Division game.

Fernando Garcia scored 14 points, Darren Wyre had 12, and Robert Reed grabbed 10 rebounds for Faith Baptist.

Highland Hall 70, Victor Valley Christian 57--Craig Ernst had 25 points and 15 rebounds as third-seeded Highland Hall (22-2) advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time in a Small Schools Division game.

Greg Anastas had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Bob Ramirez scored 14 points for Highland Hall, which trailed by 10 points in the third quarter but outscored its opponent, 27-9, in the fourth quarter.

John Klejnot grabbed 15 rebounds for Highland Hall, which won its 19th consecutive game and plays in the quarterfinals against Bethel Christian of Lancaster, which beat New Life, 107-73.
