In the 2-AA:

Tehachapi 72, Whittier Christian 63--Brian McHome made six free throws down the stretch as Tehachapi (20-3) held off Whittier Christian at Brea-Olinda High School.

Ruben Oronoz scored 18 and Joe Konstantarakis 14 for Whittier Christian.

In the Small Schools:

St. Margaret’s 61, Pilgrim 60--Dann Campaigne made a 15-foot jump shot with three seconds left to give St. Margaret’s the win at St. Margaret’s.

St. Margaret’s led by as 10 points, but Pilgrim rallied and a jump shot by Parker Jenkins with 17 seconds left gave the Patriots a 60-59 lead. St. Margaret’s set a play up for Ryan Westendorf, a 6-foot-7 center who was triple-teamed. Westendorf passed to Campaigne, who made an off-balance shot. Westendorf finished with 29 points and 25 rebounds.
