The PGA tour makes its final Southern California stop until November, with Channels 2 and 8 carrying the final two rounds of the Los Angeles Open today and Sunday. The coverage begins at 1 p.m. today and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

In college basketball, UCLA’s Bruins may not be in ruins, but certainly are sputtering and slumping. Seeking to snap a four-game losing streak which has also seen UCLA drop five of its last six Pacific 10 Conference games, the now-unranked Bruins meet No. 17 Oregon State at 3 p.m. today on Channel 2. SportsChannel will televise No. 22 Loyola Marymount, California’s only ranked team, in its game against Santa Clara at 7:30 tonight.

Other telecasts involving ranked teams today include No. 16 Louisville at No. 4 Nevada-Las Vegas, 11 a.m. Channels 2 and 8; No. 8 Georgia Tech at Notre Dame, 1 p.m., Channels 4, 36, 39; and Seton Hall at No. 6 Connecticut, 5 p.m., WWOR. On Sunday, No. 1 Missouri meets No. 10 Oklahoma at 1 p.m. on Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42 while at the same time No. 3 Duke faces No. 21 Arizona on Channels 4, 36 and 39.
