A second suspect has been arrested in the Palmdale kidnaping of a savings and loan officer who was held captive in her home for 36 hours last week before being rescued at her Newhall branch office during a failed robbery attempt, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies said today.

Tyrone McGraw, 29, described as a transient from the Pomona area, was arrested Tuesday night after deputies pulled him over in the 3600 block of Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena for driving without license plates and headlights, sheriff’s deputies said. A check of the vehicle’s identification number revealed that the red Toyota he was driving had been reported stolen in the Newhall robbery attempt.

McGraw was booked on suspicion of robbery, grand theft of an auto and giving false information to police officers. He was being held without bail in the Temple City Sheriff’s station.
