ABC’s Sunrises and Sunsets: “Elvis” will return to the ABC schedule, but “Sunset Beat” sets after its second airing and “China Beach” and “Capital News” go on hiatus, the network announced Wednesday. “China Beach” definitely will return; the fates of “Sunset Beat” and “Capital News” are uncertain. “Sunset Beat,” which premiered April 21, has its second and last performance Saturday at 8 p.m. A special one-hour “Elvis” will air in that time period on May 5, then “Elvis” will settle into the 8-8:30 p.m. slot. “China Beach” and “Capital News” go off the air after their episodes Monday.
