Keeler Headlines Hart’s Show

Share

Hart High catcher Stephanie Keeler, who has signed to attend Hawaii, provides the offensive punch for the Indians.

Keeler leads Hart in virtually every offensive category, including batting average (.541), hits (33), runs batted in (15), triples (four), home runs (two), walks (six), on-base percentage (.612) and slugging percentage (.803).

Keeler has struck out only twice in 65 at-bats.

One reason for the success of the El Camino Real baseball team might be its ability to put the ball in play. In 63 plate appearances, left fielder Jason Cohen has fanned twice, third baseman Greg Lederman has whiffed four times in 63 appearances, center fielder Jeff Marks has struck out four times in 71 appearances, and first baseman Ryan McGuire has struck out five times in 70 appearances.
