Taft d. Carson, 15-7, 15-7, 15-8--Matt Davis and Cody Hein each had 10 kills to lead host Taft (13-1) in a 4-A match.
Granada Hills d. Roosevelt, 12-15, 15-0, 15-5, 15-2--Dane Rood had 13 kills to lead host Granada Hills. Dana White and Danny Asaoka each added 10 kills for the Highlanders (11-3) in a 4-A match.
University d. El Camino Real, 15-5, 15-13, 15-8--Despite 12 kills by Brandon Wallace, El Camino Real (4-10) was knocked out of the 4-A playoffs at University.
Cleveland d. Huntington Park, 15-5, 15-6, 15-6--Cesar Gutierrez had 16 kills and Yan Huang added 13 kills and 22 assists to lead Cleveland (5-7) in a 4-A match at Huntington Park.
Chinh Tran added 24 assists for the Cavaliers.
Van Nuys d. Fairfax, 8-15, 15-10, 15-10, 12-15, 15-4--Brad Schultz had 17 kills and 10 blocks to lead host Van Nuys (11-4) to a 3-A win.
Juan Franco had 12 kills and Brian Chung added 11 kills and six blocks for the winners.
