SOUTHERN SECTION TENNIS PLAYOFFS : Corona del Mar, Dana Hills to Meet

Corona del Mar High School plays host to Dana Hills today in the semifinal round of the Southern Section 4-A team tennis playoffs.

Second-seeded Dana Hills (21-0) defeated Newport Harbor, 12-6, in the quarterfinals Tuesday. Corona del Mar (22-2) is the No. 3 seeded team.

In the 3-A division, top-seeded Woodbridge (20-3) plays Sunny Hills, a 10-8 winner over Upland in a super tiebreaker Wednesday. The site of the match will be determined today by a coin flip. Sunny Hills is 21-1.

Second-seeded Laguna Beach (18-5) will be at San Marino (20-0). Laguna Beach is led by Jon Leach, who is unbeaten in 60 games this season.

In the 1-A division, Santa Margarita, the No. 2 seeded team, is at third-seeded Brentwood.

All matches begin at 3 p.m.
