Tod Murphy to Speak at Fabulous 44 Banquet
Tod Murphy, formerly of UC Irvine and now a forward for the Minnesota Timberwolves, will be the guest speaker at the California Fabulous 44 State Prep Basketball Games banquet next Thursday at the Santa Ana Embassy Suites Hotel.
The banquet will honor the top 22 boys’ and 22 girls’ basketball players in the state. The Northern California vs. Southern California girls’ all-star game will be at 1 p.m. June 24 and the boys will play at 3:30 at the Bren Center.
A reception at 5:30 p.m. will precede the 6:30 banquet. The event is open to the public at $25 per person. For reservations, call Lee Ramos at 832-3805, ext. 490.
Tickets for the game can be purchased at the Bren Center or at Ticketron.
