Capistrano Valley Beats Marina, Parks

Despite 30 points by Marina’s Cherokee Parks, Capistrano Valley High School beat the Vikings, 68-60, in the Capistrano Valley summer boys’ basketball tournament Saturday.
Jose Salvaterria scored 18 points to lead Capistrano Valley. Dave Sedgwick added 14 and Brett McCorkle had 13 for the winners.
