THE SIDELINES : Ryan’s 300 Bid to Be Televised
BRISTOL, Conn. —
ESPN will televise Nolan Ryan’s second attempt at his 300th victory Tuesday night when he pitches for Texas against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The game will begin at 5:30 PDT.
The Toronto-Baltimore game, originally scheduled as the primary matchup, will be shown as the secondary game.
Ryan’s first attempt at No. 300 was televised to most of the country by ESPN on Wednesday. The Rangers beat New York 9-7 in 11 innings, but Ryan was not involved in the decision.
