Pat Chandler has been named director of educational services for the South Bay Union High School District. She will fill the position created by the Aug. 30 retirement of L’Cena Rice. Chandler has been with the district four years, as assistant principal at Redondo Beach High School, principal of Pacific Shores High School/ director of alternative education, and last year as director of curriculum and instruction at the district. Other new assignments include: Jerry Goddard, to replace Sharon Dezutti as director of personnel; assignment of Dezutti as associate superintendent for personnel, and LeGayle Black, who will become director of fiscal and administrative services.
