THE SIDELINES : Arizona Schedule Is Released
Three-time defending Pacific-10 Conference champion Arizona will play five nationally televised games and face two Final Four opponents during its 1990-91 basketball season.
In the schedule released Wednesday, the Wildcats open their season Nov. 14 against Austin Peay in a first-round game of the Dodge NIT tournament here at McKale Center.
Arizona, which had a 25-7 record last season, will play at Louisiana State on Dec. 8 on ABC-TV, at Villanova on Jan. 19 on CBS, at UCLA on Feb. 10 on ABC, against Georgia Tech at East Rutherford, N.J., on Feb. 17 on CBS, and against Duke here on Feb. 24 on ABC.
