Driver, 26, Killed After Car Overturns
A 26-year-old Canyon Country man was killed Friday morning when he lost control of his car and it overturned, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The man, whose identity was not released, was killed about 5 a.m. on the Sierra Highway just north of Davenport Road in Canyon Country, said CHP Officer A.J. Torres.
Torres said the man was driving south at a high speed when his car veered onto the dirt shoulder, back across the road, hit a drainage culvert and overturned. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
