Countywide : 2 Indicted on Bank Robbery Charges
Two Ventura men have been indicted on federal bank robbery charges, the FBI said Wednesday.
Robert Poynter, 31, is accused of robbing six financial institutions in Ventura County and one in Santa Maria, said Gary Auer, agent in charge of the FBI’s Ventura office.
Julian Delgado, 29, was charged with assisting in one of the robberies Aug. 22.
Conviction carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a $5,000 fine for each offense.
