Moorpark 41, L.A. Baptist 21--Toussaint Powdrill scored three touchdowns and rushed for 139 yards in 17 carries to lead the Musketeers (3-1) at home. Powdrill returned the opening kickoff 82 yards for a score and also scored on runs of 29 and three yards.

Moorpark scored 22 points in the third quarter to erase a 13-6 deficit. Quarterback Ryan Huisenga tossed two third-quarter touchdowns and finished with five completions in 10 attempts for 100 yards.

L. A. Baptist (0-4) was limited to 145 yards in offense, including 18 yards passing. Quarterback Dane Brown, who completed two of seven, scored on a six-yard run in the first quarter to give the Knights a brief 7-6 lead.
