Some of America’s finest heelers, riders, ropers and steer wrestlers are headed for the City of Industry for the Industry Hills fifth annual Charity Pro Rodeo Saturday and Sunday.

The event will be at the Industry Hills Equestrian Center, a 300-acre site at 16200

Temple Ave. Gates open at noon for a farm animal petting zoo, food and refreshment stands and exhibits. Rodeo competition begins at 2 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

The Mayor’s Western Steak Barbecue and Dance follows Saturday’s competition and features Western entertainment and music and dancing to the Black Kettle Country Band from 4:30 to 11 p.m. Admission is $15.
