Donis Bailey and Bob Stevens will coach the Kennedy High girls’ basketball program this year, replacing Toya Holiday.
Bailey and Stevens were assistants to Craig Raub, who coached the Golden Cougars from 1978-87. Under Raub, the school won three City Section 4-A Division titles.
Holiday, who recently gave birth to her second child, resigned to concentrate on her family and teaching career at Frost Junior High. Holiday, a former Kennedy standout, led the Golden Cougars to three North Valley League titles in three years as coach.
Kennedy currently has a 130-game winning streak in league play, the longest in the state.
