Royal, which has won 10 consecutive Marmonte League titles, put the finishing touches on another undefeated league season with a 16-4 victory over Newbury Park. Rob Martin had four goals for Royal (20-3, 10-0), which has not lost a league match since 1986 and has a 38-match league winning streak.

Harvard trounced visiting St. Francis, 27-5, to finish 20-6, 7-1 and in a tie for first place in the San Fernando Valley League with Crespi. Ryan Salceda led Harvard with six goals. Teammate Jim Toring missed the match because of illness.
