PRO FOOTBALL REPORT / WEEKDAY UPDATE : RAIDERS : Dyal Finally Returns to Practice Field

Share

Tight end Mike Dyal returned to practice for the first time since being placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury on Sept. 19. For now, Dyal occupies an open spot on the Raider practice squad.

Running back Doug Lloyd, released from the roster last Saturday, was re-signed and added to the five-man practice squad.

Left tackle Rory Graves, who missed the game against Kansas City because of a foot strain, practiced and is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers at the Coliseum.

Bruce Wilkerson filled in for Graves in last Sunday’s 9-7 loss in Kansas City, but Raider Coach Art Shell said Graves will start if he’s sound. “We’ll see if that foot’s coming around,” Shell said.

Defensive tackle Bill Pickel, who has an injured back, is listed as probable for Sunday’s game.

As a result of his 10-for-31 passing performance against the Chiefs, Jay Schroeder slipped to third place in this week’s AFC quarterback ratings, trailing Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills and Warren Moon of the Houston Oilers.
