The Region : Holiday Canned Food Drive

The Monrovia and Duarte Boards of Realtors are sponsoring a canned food drive to provide Christmas dinners to 100 needy families.
Donations of canned goods for the holiday baskets can be delivered through Dec. 14 to local realty offices; Monrovia or Duarte city halls; Monrovia Chamber of Commerce, 620 S. Myrtle Ave.; Duarte Chamber of Commerce, 1026 E. Huntington Drive, and many local supermarkets.
The dinners, which will include the canned items and purchased hams and turkeys, will be distributed Dec. 22.
