NAMES IN THE GAMES : Tony Dorsett’s Son Recruited
Pittsburgh is recruiting the son of one of the most famous football players in the school’s history.
Anthony Dorsett, son of 1976 Heisman Trophy winner Tony Dorsett, visited Pitt during the weekend.
The younger Dorsett is a 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back-wide receiver from J. J. Pearce High School near Dallas. He started only three games last season and has played organized football for only two years.
Dorsett’s high school coach, Mike Jenkins, said Pitt is the only Division I school recruiting the player.
