Other Palomar League games:

Fallbrook 62, Rancho Buena Vista 57--Fallbrook led, 56-40, with two minutes left before the Longhorns rallied to pull within three, 60-57. Allen Yang then made two free throws with 13 seconds left. Chris Miller had 21 points as the Warriors improved to 16-9, 9-4.

Brad Grubaugh scored 22 of his game-high 38 points in the fourth quarter for Rancho Buena Vista (12-12, 7-6). Darryl Parker, third in the county in scoring, scored 10, 15 below his average.

Torrey Pines 84, Vista 74--No. 5 Torrey Pines (9-4, 19-7) was led by Greg Brown with 21 points, but Nils Michals led all scorers with 25 for Vista (8-15, 4-9). Torrey Pines had a 41-22 lead at the half.

Mt. Carmel 76, Orange Glen 57--Mt. Carmel (17-7, 7-6) led, 57-29, after three quarters. Aaron Harmon led the Sun Devils with 14 points. Ryan Wootton added 13 points and seven rebounds. Orange Glen fell to 0-19, 0-13.

Avocado League

El Camino 80, Rancho Bernardo 54--Top-ranked El Camino had an easy time at home. The Wildcats (18-4, 11-2) can clinch at least a tie for first Friday at Escondido. Shaun Scurry had 20 points and 12 rebounds for El Camino. David Santos scored 21 for the Broncos (4-17, 2-11).

Ramona 86, Oceanside 56--Alfonso De La Nuez had 24 points and six assists for Ramona (16-5, 11-2). Teammate Travis Knight added 14 rebounds and five blocked shots to his 17 points, and Rusty Hoss had 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The victory gives Ramona, which plays Rancho Bernardo Friday, a chance to tie for its first league championship.

San Pasqual 82, Carlsbad 68--Erik Meek scored 32 points as San Pasqual (14-7, 10-3) clinched third place. Calvin Coleman scored 23 for Carlsbad (13-11, 8-5), which clinched fourth place.

Escondido 55, San Marcos 48--Damian Cephus and Joe Pippins each had 12 points for Escondido (5-15, 4-9), but Evan Osmundson had 17 and teammate Eric Wilburn 16 for San Marcos (5-14, 2-11).

City Central League

Lincoln 90, Crawford 69--Fourth-ranked Lincoln clinched its sixth consecutive league title by winning its 37th consecutive league game. The Hornets (17-8, 7-0) also won for the 56th time in 57 league games. Hosa Baker scored 22 points and Barry Randle 14. Kadis Nelson had six three-pointers and 33 points for Crawford (3-20, 1-7).

City Harbor League

Christian 53, Marian 39--Chad Degrenier scored 21, and Dave Piester added 20 to lead Christian, which outscored Marian, 23-5, in the first quarter. Christian (18-5, 6-1) clinched a tie for the league title. Marian is 13-12, 2-5.

St. Augustine 69, Coronado 55--Mark MaGee led St. Augustine (12-12, 4-3) with 21 points. John Gergurich added seven rebounds and 10 points. The Saints pulled away from a 39-39 third-quarter tie and outscored Coronado, 30-16, in the fourth. The Islanders dropped to 5-18, 1-7.

City Western League

USDHS 70, La Jolla 37--Dave Withers scored a game-high 18, and Eric Barajas added 11 to lead USDHS, which led, 36-14, at halftime. Craig Woodall led La Jolla (2-18, 2-5) with 12. USDHS (18-4, 5-2), a game behind Kearny, retained a slim chance at tying for the title. La Jolla is 2-18, 2-5.

University City 82, Mission Bay 55--University City (12-8, 4-3) avenged an earlier loss to the Buccaneers behind the play of Elliott Alexander (20 points), Mitch Charlens (15) and Barry Waits (13). John Price and Cam Attwood had 21 apiece for Mission Bay (4-17, 1-7).

City Eastern League

Point Loma 50, Serra 46--Point Loma pulled off a huge upset of visiting Serra, which could have wrapped up the league title with a victory. Instead, No. 7 Serra, which is finished with league play and fell to 14-6, 6-2, is a half-game ahead of Morse.

Justin Miller (16 points) and Jason Foster (four) each made two key free throws down the stretch for Point Loma (5-18, 1-6). Tony Etheridge scored 18 for the Conquistadors.

Morse 60, Patrick Henry 42--With the memory of Patrick Henry’s John Pike scoring 38 points against it only two weeks ago, Morse shifted into a box-and-one on Pike on Wednesday and limited him to six shots. He made four and finished with 11 points. Dwayne Ludd, meanwhile, led Morse (15-7, 5-2) with 15 points. Patrick Henry fell to 7-16, 1-6.

The victory gives Morse, which plays Point Loma Friday, a shot at becoming co-league champions.

Metro Conference

Castle Park 71, Southwest 69--With 2 seconds left, Bobby Stanton hit a baseline three-point shot to give Castle Park (7-16, 4-10) an upset victory at home. Castle Park was down by six with 50 seconds left, but Tommy Stevens hit a three-pointer to begin the comeback.

Eric Bell (20 points) then made a steal and a layup to make it a one-point game. After Southwest missed a free throw, the Trojans tried to set up a play inside to Bell. Thwarted, Stanton (23 points) dribbled from the wing to set up his winning shot.

Devin Patterson and Zachary Reiff led Southwest (16-9, 10-4) with 21 points each.

Montgomery 76, Bonita Vista 66--Montgomery (6-18, 4-10) took a 17-point lead into the fourth quarter and were never seriously threatened. Ryan Payton scored 25 points for Montgomery and John Rodriguez added 21. Rope Perry led Bonita Vista (14-8, 8-6) with 19 points and 15 rebounds.

Hilltop 61, Mar Vista 46--With the victory, Hilltop (13-13, 7-7) finishes the regular season having won six of eight. Against Mar Vista, the Lancers got double figures from all three of their left-handed guards: Chris White, 16; Carlos Marques, 21; and Courtney Brown, 19. Brown, who stands 6-foot-2, also pulled down 16 rebounds. Mar Vista fell to 5-18, 2-12.

Nonleague

Kearny 71, Clairemont 59--Darnay Scott scored 19 as No. 3 Kearny (20-5) won at Clairemont (9-11). Alex Love, second in the county in scoring, had 21 points, four below his average.

Mira Mesa 76, Madison 63--Ryan Cunningham had 23 points and eight rebounds to lead Mira Mesa (14-10) at home. Hooney Kim (four three-pointers) and Matt Baker scored 17 each for Madison (11-10).

GIRLS

City Central League

Lincoln 65, Crawford 39--Shondell Robinson scored 23 points as No. 8 Lincoln (15-2, 7-0) clinched the league championship outright. Kristen Gentry had 18 for Crawford (13-8, 4-4).

City Eastern League

Point Loma 70, Serra 27--No. 6 Point Loma won its 11th consecutive league championship with the rout at Serra (7-14, 3-5). Lisa Griego scored 24 and Stacey Wainwright 17 for the Pointers (22-2, 7-0).
