Irvine 48, Cerritos 32--John Molle’s 22 points and Irvine’s strong defense helped the Vaqueros win at Cerritos High School.
Irvine (24-3) outscored Cerritos, 16-4, in the second quarter and led at halftime, 28-11.
“In the first 16 minutes I think we just took them out of the game,” Irvine Coach Steve Keith said. “The (Cerritos) offense just really broke down.”
