Bickert Signs to Play Volleyball at Alabama

Marta Bickert, a 5-foot-11 outside hitter at El Toro High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at Alabama.

Bickert, who also plays basketball and softball at El Toro, was a first-team all-South Coast League selection and earned all-Southern Section honors last fall for the Chargers’ volleyball team.

She visited Colorado State, Arizona State and UC Santa Barbara before choosing Alabama. Bickert also had offers from Idaho, William & Mary and Virginia. Bickert has a 4.0 grade-point average at El Toro and plans to be a premed major at Alabama.
