The Phoenix Suns snapped Portland’s winning streak at 16 games and also grabbed homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs by beating the Trail Blazers, 135-118, Sunday.

Kevin Johnson scored 23 points and Jeff Hornacek 22 for the Suns, and both sparked a third-period rally with 14 points apiece as Phoenix improved its record to 55-27, one game better than Utah, whose loss at Golden State knocked the Jazz from the second seeded position to the fifth in the Western Conference.

The Suns, as the fourth-seeded team, will have homecourt advantage over the Jazz in their first-round series.
