JUMP: David Lee Roth always causes a stir, largely with his MTV videos, which are (without fail) populated with scantily clad video vixens. But his current concert show has stooped to a new low. Roth has installed a pair of huge demon statues in the midst of each arena, which produce a unique sort of special effect--the naked statues spray audience members with a stream of name-brand whiskey. Roth’s handlers claim that one of his recent European shows--an early April concert in Ludwigshaven, Germany--was even canceled by unhappy local authorities who found the stunt especially disgusting. Roth’s retort: “Be realistic, what am I supposed to do--hand out individual cups?” . . . Alice Cooper returns in late June with a new album, lovingly titled “Hey Stoopid.” Featuring guest appearances by Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars from Motley Crue and Slash from Guns N’ Roses, the record includes such new songs as “Love’s a Loaded Gun,” “Might as Well Be On Mars,” “Feed My Frankenstein” and “Burning Our Bed.” . . . Meanwhile L.A. Guns’ upcoming album, “Hollywood Vampires,” due June 25 from PolyGram Records, isn’t exactly easy on the eyes--unless you already have 3-D shades. The first 250,000 copies of the CD and cassette come equipped with 3-D photos and graphics (and a pair of glasses). The band hits the road with AC/DC May 24, returning to L.A. June 8 for a show at Irvine Meadows and June 10 at the L.A. Sports Arena.
