I take offense, Mr. Florence, with your statement that it is the high-handicap players that are the main culprits. Some of the slowest golfers are the low-handicappers that step off the yardage from the 150-yard markers and then take a lot of time to decide what to hit.
Of course, one important practice to keep up is for the short hitters, like me at 73 years, to hit when the foursome ahead is out of range.
