Glendora : Owner Can Keep 2 Horses

Share

After hearing testimony from numerous horse lovers, the City Council on Tuesday overturned a Planning Commission decision that would have required a resident to give up one of his two horses and make structural changes in his barn and corral.

Ronald Ballard, attorney for Charles Robinson, said zoning problems with the barn and corral on Easley Canyon Road were not the fault of Robinson, who obtained city permission for the structures years ago.

Some neighbors who opposed Robinson’s appeal said that although he had maintained his property well, they wanted the zoning problem addressed because they were afraid some future owner might not maintain the property as well.
