A disabled cement finisher was found dead in his Lemon Grove motel room early Thursday, the victim of an apparent homicide, authorities said.

The body of Tommy Lynn Bradley, 45, was discovered about 2 a.m. by his sister, Debbie Thoner, on the floor of his room, a sheriff’s spokesman said. He had been living at the National Nine Inn, 8429 Broadway, since March.

His hands and feet were bound, and he had a minor injury on his face, but the cause of death was not immediately apparent, Sheriff’s Sgt. Manley Castillo said. He had last been seen alive Tuesday evening. It was not clear whether he had been robbed.

Bradley, who was recently divorced, had been living in San Diego for a year. Two of Bradley’s sons live in San Diego, authorities said.
