La Habra’s Veeder Picks Dominguez Hills

Scott Veeder, left-handed pitcher at La Habra High School, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Veeder was 8-3 with a 2.13 earned-run average and 58 strikeouts in leading La Habra to a berth in the Southern Section 4-A division playoffs.
Veeder, who will graduate this week with a 2.8 grade-point average, is undecided on his major.
