2 Injured in Crash of Pickup and Car
A 68-year-old man was in critical condition and his wife was in serious condition Tuesday after their truck collided with another vehicle, police said.
Both Duane and Ann Debrosky of Garden Grove suffered internal injuries in the 3:30 p.m. accident. Duane Debrosky was airlifted to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he underwent surgery and remained in the intensive care unit. Ann Debrosky, 66, was taken to Pacifica Community Hospital here.
Police said Debrosky was heading north on Magnolia Street when his pickup collided with a car heading east on Hamilton Avenue. That driver and her passenger were not reported injured.
Witnesses gave police conflicting accounts, Police Sgt. John Arnold said, so no one has been cited, pending further investigation.
