Sepulveda 8, Van Nuys-Notre Dame 5--Sepulveda took advantage of 11 walks to score three runs in each of the first two innings at Notre Dame.

Three Van Nuys-Notre Dame pitchers combined to walk 13 batters and hit another.

Brad Fullmer had two hits for Sepulveda (10-1). Cesar Martinez had two hits for Van Nuys (9-3).

Woodland Hills West 4, Sun Valley 2--Mike McLean had two singles, drove in a run and stole three bases to lead Woodland Hills West at El Camino Real High.

Right-hander Sean Boldt scattered eight hits for West (7-3). Boldt (3-1) walked three and struck out two.

Steve Chavez and Francisco Flores had two hits each for Sun Valley (7-3).

North Hollywood 7, West Hills 5--Ted Corcoran was three for four with two runs batted in for West Hills, but North Hollywood scored five times in the third inning to open a lead it would not relinquish at Chaminade High.

Trailing, 2-0, North Hollywood turned four walks, one error and a base hit into a 5-2 lead in the third.

Lancaster 2, San Fernando 1--With the score tied, 1-1, Lancaster scored an unearned run in the top of the seventh on a pair of errors by second baseman David Rojas at San Fernando.

Left-hander Jorge Gonzales allowed one earned run on five hits but took the loss for San Fernando (3-6). Chad Eberhardt had two hits for Lancaster (5-5).
