Allen Doyle of LaGrange, Ga., and John Harris of Edina, Minn., shared medalist honors at the U.S. Amateur in Chattanooga, Tenn. Both were at six-under par 136, two strokes better than David Hill of Melbourne, Australia, and Bryan Pemberton of Dublin, Calif. David Berganio Jr. of Sylmar finished at 139.

Tiger Woods of Cypress, the 15-year-old U.S. Junior Amateur champion, failed to make the cut, shooting a second-round 74 for a total of 152.
