COUNTYWIDE : 5 College Soccer Teams to Compete

Soccer teams from five Southern California colleges will converge on the athletic field at Oxnard College this weekend for a two-day tournament, culminating in a series of championship games Sunday afternoon.
Teams from Oxnard College, Cal Lutheran, Pepperdine University, Los Angeles Harbor College and Allan Hancock College will compete in the sixth annual Golden Condor Soccer Tournament.
A sixth team of Oxnard College alumni will also play in the tournament.
The games will kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday with a contest between Cal Lutheran and Oxnard College. Beginning at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the top teams will play for first, second and third place.
The games, on Oxnard’s campus at 4000 S. Rose Ave., are free and open to the public, a college spokeswoman said.
