College Football: Mismatched Mayhem
Penn State plays Cincinnati, Iowa takes on Northern Illinois, Oklahoma goes up against North Texas, Washington puts its high ranking on the line against perennial juggernaut Toledo, and Miami, with its usual awesome schedule, picks on Tulsa, Cal State Long Beach and San Diego State.
When is somebody going to put a stop to these mismatches that are scheduled because some athletic directors are more interested in making a buck, big scores and high rankings than they are in the health of their players? A kid could get killed. Is it worth it?
Anybody stupid enough to buy a ticket to one of these games would pay to see Mike Tyson fight Pee-wee Herman.
