Riddick Bowe, elevated to the No. 2 heavyweight contender’s ranking by the World Boxing Council, has not signed to fight Donovan (Razor) Ruddock, according to Bowe’s manager.

Murad Muhammad, Ruddock’s promoter, said Wednesday that the fight was made, even though no contracts were signed.

“There is absolutely no fight,” said Rock Newman, Bowe’s manager. “It is a 100% figment of Murad Muhammad’s warped imagination.”
