Tailback Eliel Swinton rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns in 10 carries Thursday to lead Montclair Prep to a 37-0 win over Masada in a nonleague high school football game at Pierce College.
Swinton scored on touchdown runs of seven, 24 and 47 yards before he was ejected for fighting with Montclair Prep holding a 36-point lead late in the first half.
The Mounties (2-0), last season’s Southern Section Division X champions, limited the Knights (1-2) to minus-24 yards and just three first downs.
The game, played with a running clock in the second half, was delayed for 10 minutes because of the fight, which erupted with 6 minutes 10 seconds left in the second quarter. Three players from each team, including Swinton, were ejected.
