PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Jaeger Leading AFC in Scoring
Kicker Jeff Jaeger leads the AFC in scoring with 49 points. Although he has kicked only seven extra points, compared to 21 for Buffalo’s Scott Norwood, Jaeger has made 14 of 15 field-goal attempts.
For the second week in a row, the Raiders will face the lowest-rated quarterback in the AFC.
John Friesz of the San Diego Chargers was ranked last until he passed for 118 yards and one touchdown in a 21-13 victory over the Raiders last Sunday. Seattle quarterback Jeff Kemp is now ranked last in the AFC with a 57.6 rating.
Seahawk wide receiver Brian Blades, who leads the NFL with 36 catches for 516 yards, suffered a sprain ankle in practice and is questionable for Sunday’s game.
