PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Dupree, Recovering From Flu, Activated
The Rams activated tailback Marcus Dupree off the injured-reserve list for Sunday’s game against the Falcons at Atlanta and added linebacker Terry Crews to their practice squad.
“I’m still a little weak,” Dupree, recovering from flu, said after practice Friday. He had sat out Thursday’s workout.
The Rams activated tackle Robert Jenkins, who had been on injured reserve because of a dislocated right toe, and added rookie lineman Jeff Pahukoa to the practice squad.
Quarterback Jim Everett credited the emergence of tight end Jim Price with helping improve the passing attack.
“You look at San Diego, and who was their tight end (in their glory days), some guy named Kellen Winslow,” Everett said. “You look at the Los Angeles Rams when we were very successful, and they had another guy named Pete Holohan. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.”
